The history of Kamaboko:
 
We can found out the word of Kamaboko on the literature about 850 years ago.
 (Heian-jidai)  Perhaps, it's origin was roasted fish's meat on skeweres around
 IRORI or a fire.And that looks like a Kamahoko (A flower's head of Cattail).
Now, this type's Kamaboko is calling Sasakamaboko,yakimuki-kamaboko,and,chikuwa
 are same sort.
And,Steamed Kamaboko was made about 250 years ago.(Edo-jidai)
Fried Kamaboko (It's calling Tempura)was made about 100 years ago.(Meiji-jidai)
Kamaboko was so valuable foods untill about 35 years ago.    But It was became a

daily foods and so cheap foods since machinery-production .
 
An output:
We had producted about 100 Kg par day average in last year.
It was on the decrease,because ,the reason of there are many kinds of foods.
The ploblem of International economical sea region.
The most records production were 700 Kg in a day.Perhaps it was in 1975.
