children are given all kind of inoculations.

 Good health is everyone's greatest wish. In 1983 Hita declared 
itself a 'health-conscious city'. 

The basic concept is 'Look after yourself', and health care 
suited to each age group is being promoted. 

Early diagnosis of illness through medical check, 
and early treatment are vital.

 For this reason, a comprehensive medical care system,
 taking in preventive medicine, treatment and rehabilitaion, 
is being set up in cooperation with the Medical Check Center 
and local medical institutions, including the Saiseikai Hita Hospital 
which opened in 1990. 


The saiseikai Hita Hospital guards the health
and lives of 130 thousand local residents,
with a high level of medical care.
