The Hina dolls of the Kusano family, who served as village 
headmen when Hita was under the direct control of the 
Tokugawa Shogunate, are put on public display, during 
the Dolls' Festival from February to March together with 
the Hina dolls of the Hirose family, who were court nobles, 
and the Goubaru family, who were maltsters, .
