The Silver Employment Center was set up to provide employment for those aged sixty or over, who are healthy and want to work, and to give more meaning to their lives by giving them the opportunity to put their abilities and experience of life to use in the community. At present approximately 200 people are registered as members. |
 The elderly people of Hita applying theirbwisdom and wealth at expence,even here,as thery make the greae twisted rope which hangs at the gate of Ohara Shrine to greet worshippers.  Heave-ho ! for health and friendship. |
