EXPANSION THROUGH THE
ATTRACTION OF INDUSTRY
The Ishii Industrial Estate
has been developed as industrial land since 1974,
in an attempt to improve and develop the city's
economy TDK and the Chemical Testing Association
established premises here, and started operations
in 1982.
In 1990 it was also
decided to invite Kyushu Judenso
Co.,Ltd.
Sapporo Beer New Kyusyu
Factory, with its park-like grounds in the
Takase area, started operations in 1999, and
receives one million visitors a year. Boosting
the newest model production facilities: all
factory waste is recycled. With an output of
120,000,000 liters per year, and aiming to
acheive an output of 150,000,000 liters per year in
the future.
Not only effective simply
because of increased employment, population
stabilisation and added investment; it also
provides good public relations for Hita, and is
expected to exercise an enormous influence on
the wide-sphere economy.
